WASP SCHOOL HOLIDAY TENNIS CAMP

Event description

Join us for the WASP School Holidays Tennis Program, brought to you by The Weipa Aquatic & Sports Precinct and in partnership with Tennis Australia. 

This program is a fun filled, skill based program run by Tennis Australia Coaches, and the ANZ Hot Shots. No tennis experience is necessary, just a willingness to give it a go.The program can be adjusted based on the specific needs and skill levels of the children participating. The key is to keep activities engaging, progressively challenging, and always enjoyable.

Activities include: Introduction to Tennis, Tennis terminology & technique, basic to advanced skills based on groups age & ability, fun & skilled based games & multi-sports, Mini tourament games. 

What to bring:

• Water Bottle
• Brimmed Hat
• Closed in running shoes

Session Times & Days 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

8:30 - 10:30am (2hrs session) Grade 4 

10:30am - 11:30am  Kindy & Prep
 
11:30am - 12:30pm Grade 1

1:30pm - 2:30pm Grade 2 
 
2:30pm - 3:30pm Grade 3 

3:30pm - 5:30pm (2hr session)  Grade 5+

5:45pm - 6:45pm Cardio Tennis (open to all gym members & casual passes available) 
 
Please note each day will be slightly different and children are welcome to participate across multiple days if desired. Full supervision is provided.
